Throughout November, our Chinese Service will join the English Service at 4:30 PM on Sundays in the main sanctuary. This is a wonderful opportunity for our entire church to worship together.  Please note that the service will be conducted in English

Our
History

ROOTED IN FAITH. GROWING IN COMMUNITY.

Coquitlam Chinese Baptist Church (CCBC)'s journey began in 1991 as a sister church to VCBC, nurtured by shared vision and prayer. As our congregation flourished, God led us to become an independent church in 1994, deepening our calling to serve the Port Coquitlam community. The Fireside ministry started when English speaking worshippers gathered in the cozy “Fireside” corner of Mary Hill Baptist Church. Fireside is now a name that reflects both our warmth and mission.

Through every season, we've witnessed His faithfulness from humble beginnings to becoming a spiritual home for generations.

Encouragements

10 years &
Beyond

A Legacy of Faithful Service.

As CCBC celebrated 10 years and beyond, we remained steadfast in serving the Port Coquitlam community with Christ’s love. From this rich foundation, Fireside was born and a new generation gathering in the warmth of God’s Word, first in the Mary Hill "Fireside" space, then growing to our Coast Meridian location. Together, we continue fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission, reaching further as one church family across two expressions of worship.

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people..." (Galatians 6:10)
